Capricorn Dinosaur Park

The development of the Capricorn Dinosaur Park at Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary is now complete and features:

  • 35 life-sized dinosaurs
  • a 1km wheelchair and stroller friendly dinosaur walk
  • an educational dinosaur fossil dig
  • 18-hole mini golf
  • a picnic and playground area.

We supported the development of this attraction with a $796,000 investment to deliver a unique experience that will create jobs and help to attract more visitors to experience the amazing attractions the region has to offer.

This project is part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020/21, and was a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.
