Sip and stay on the Scenic Rim
A winery at Lake Wyaralong is now offering boutique ecotourism accommodation to their guests and visitors to the Scenic Rim with the opening of Wander @ The Overflow.
Completely off-grid, and accommodating up to 14 guests, across 5 separate Wanderpods, the project was funded ($1.3m) through the Growing Tourism Infrastructure fund.
The construction of the new Wanderpods® supported 50 jobs with an additional 5 jobs during operation and are expected to attract 3321 visitors annually while injecting $650,225 into the region.
Located on a historic grazing property, with the original homestead on-site, The Overflow Estate 1895 vineyard was first established in 2010 and now holds 2500 vines that are produced into their premium wine collection.
