City Brothers kicking goals with clubhouse extension in Mackay

There are 2 extra change rooms, male and female bathrooms with showers, a parent’s room, storage room, gymnasium and kiosk.

The extensions will encourage more women and girls to play soccer, adding to the 250 junior and senior players who are already members.

The club plans to have more social events like trivia nights and is now fundraising to get a projector with surround-sound speakers and screens for watching sporting events and holding functions.

The refurbishments were funded through the Queensland Government’s Active Community Infrastructure program.
