Shark Carnival hits Townsville
Townsville Sports Precinct once again hosted the Bindal Sharks All Blacks Rugby League Carnival over the October long weekend.
The event has had long running success and this year was no different with 6500 attendees and 46 teams descending on the venue from North Queensland. Teams travelled from as far as New South Wales and Coconut Island in the Torres Strait.
Dignitaries at the event included Matt Bowen, Colin Scott, Vern Daisy, Jason Bulgarelli, Milton Thaiday, Robert Lui, Arron & Paul Ketchell.
The annual carnival is a calendar highlight for the Bindal Sharks who have been bringing together communities, families and friends through rugby league for more than 36 years.
Well done to all involved in another wonderful event at the Townsville Sports Precinct.
