Game On For Women in Logan

10 Aug 2021

Women and girls in Logan will have more opportunities to get active and become sporting leaders both on and off the field with the introduction of the Game On for Women program.

Logan City Council will run the initiative, which is being funded out of the $4.34 million ActiveKIT program that is investing in 39 innovative projects across Queensland.

Sporting clubs in Logan will be supported to help their female members by providing networking opportunities, leadership workshops and bursaries for athletes, coaches, officials, club volunteers and committee members.

The program will help make clubs more inclusive for women and girls while increasing physical activity levels and developing female leaders in the sport industry.
