Jumbun keen to share tourism experience

12 Oct 2021

Demand for authentic Indigenous tourism experiences is on the rise, and through the Queensland Government’s $7 million Growing Indigenous Tourism Fund (GITF), local tourism operators are getting the opportunity to share their culture and stories.

In the Year of Indigenous Tourism, Jumbun Limited based near Tully in Far North Queensland, has used the GITF to develop a marketing strategy for their Jumbun Cultural and Food Experience and a walking and bush food tour to increase tourism opportunities for the community.

They are excited to share their stories and unique community with the world and to thrive as an enterprise that will support local community members with employment opportunities.
