Bellingham Maze

Project overview

We’re supporting Bellingham Maze to develop a new experience that combines the outdoor attractions with the digital world to offer a new and immersive 21st Century augmented reality experience.

A new children’s maze and nature-based playground will complement existing offerings and ensure all age groups have an aMAZEing time.

The project is expected to increase yearly tourism numbers by 25,000 and provide an additional $850,000 to the local economy.

This project is a part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020/21 which is a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.


  • Support 10 construction jobs and 4 operational jobs.

  • Estimated to attract an additional 10,000 visitors annually.

  • Estimated to boost the local economy by $850,000 annually.
