Bush Oasis Ecotourism Glamping Village
The Bush Oasis Ecotourism Glamping Village is developing a new attraction with glamping tents and powered campsites within a constructed year-round wetland that will attract local wildlife, and help preserve endangered species such as Mount Elliot Nursery Frog and the Black Throated Finch.
We’re supporting this development with a $500,000 investment towards the construction of an ecotourism glamping village.
The project will deliver 10 new glamping tents and 12 powered campsites for caravans.
The project is estimated to boost tourism numbers by 26,000 and bring an additional $2.4 million to the local economy in overnight expenditure.
This project is a part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020/21 is a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.
17 construction jobs during development
