North Stores is an exciting new food tourism offering being developed at Tamborine Mountain that will provide visitors with a unique experience while also helping to promote the farmers of the Scenic Rim and wider region.
We’re supporting Tiger Bear Pty Ltd with a $990,000 investment towards the North Stores Stage 2 development to help boost Tamborine Mountain’s local economy.
The new tourism offering will include workshops, an events space, a compact garden shed including gift shop, market garden and native flower garden where visitors can learn about growing food.
This project is a part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020/21 which is a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.
