Visitors to Paronella Park will be able to experience the iconic tourism attraction for longer with the development of additional accommodation options and facilities at Mena Creek.
The demand for overnight stays by visitors to Paronella Park has been increasing annually.
The Queensland Government is supporting the construction of an additional 40 van sites, amenities block and other supporting infrastructure for Paronella Park at Mena Creek. This project is expected to increase annual tourism numbers significantly.
This project is a part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020/21, and is a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.
