Marine tourism infrastructure will make the Great Barrier Reef even more attractive to visitors. With our support, Sunlover Reef Cruises will offer improved experiences for visitors to the region.
Project overview
Projects in Far North Queensland include:
- construction of an additional recreational pontoon at Arlington Reef - the pontoon is in the world heritage marine park, off Cairns, in Far North Queensland and offers excellent fish species and coral viewing
- construction of a semi-submersible vessel for use at Fitzroy Island - an alternative reef experience for non-swimmers and the only one of its kind based on the island
