These Noosa-based designers and manufacturers are creating the next generation of fire suppression systems for helicopters.

Helitak’s cutting-edge firefighting system – an innovative bladder that attaches to a helicopter, expanding when filled and retracting when empty – is protecting bushland, properties and people here and all around the globe.

In Queensland, we know how devastating and destructive bushfires can be. That’s why the Queensland Government supported Helitak with $100,000 from round 5 of the Ignite Ideas fund last year. The grant has helped Helitak gain a new international certification, scale up production and create more jobs.
