Queensland firm iOrthotics is leading the way adopting innovative best practice and advanced manufacturing processes to expand its business nationally and globally. During the outbreak of COVID-19, iOrthotics pivoted to produce 3D printed face shields and support Queensland health workers.

iOrthotics is Australia’s premier destination for custom-made orthotic devices for podiatrists. Through the use of innovative and unique manufacturing processes, iOrthotics are able to deliver quality, custom made orthotics every time.

iOrthotics Director and Founder Dean Hartley said one of the keys to the company’s success has been through ongoing research and development and utilising the latest technology and manufacturing methods.

“This ensures we’re creating products that enable us to not only compete on price, but value, service and quality. Better yet, by moving to 3D printing we are now saving around 40 tonnes of plastic landfill waste annually,” Mr Hartley said.

This commitment to innovation and quick thinking enabled iOrthotics to pivot from their normal operations and produce 1000 face shields for Queensland health workers at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak.
