Disaster recovery

Natural disasters happen in Queensland more than other state and therefore Queenslanders are susceptible to a variety of events including flooding, severe weather, cyclones and bushfires.

The Department of Tourism and Sport provides a range of support for the tourism industry to prepare and recover from natural disasters in partnership with the Australian Government.
