Amaze World

Project overview

We’ve supported Amaze World (formerly known as Bellingham Maze) to develop a new experience that combines outdoor attractions with the digital world to offer new and immersive 21st Century augmented reality experiences.

The new children’s maze and nature-based playground complements existing offerings and ensures visitors of all age groups have an aMAZEing time.

The project is expected to increase yearly tourism numbers by 25,000 and provide an additional $850,000 to the local economy.

This project is a part of the $25 million Growing Tourism Infrastructure (GTI) Fund 2020 which is a key element of Queensland’s Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help accelerate the State’s recovery from COVID-19.

Benefits

  • Support 10 construction jobs and 5 operational jobs.

  • Estimated to attract an additional 25,000 visitors annually.

  • Estimated to boost the local economy by $850,000 annually.
