Tourism Business Health Check
The Tourism Business Health Check is an online business tool developed to support tourism businesses with risk and resilience planning.
Jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland Government's under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), the assessment will help you improve the resilience of your business so you are ready for anything, from loss of key staff, to a pandemic or natural disaster
The assessment takes less than 10 minutes and your responses are confidential and not retained by the Queensland Government.

Next Generation Tourism Planning
The Next Generation Tourism Planning handbook provides a framework and guidelines that enable the efficient delivery of tourism development.
Developed in consultation with government, stakeholders and industry, the handbook is applicable to a broad range of tourism projects and relevant to all regions and local government areas across Queensland. It provides guidance on:
- planning for tourism and tourism development
- incorporating planning into Queensland’s statutory planning framework.
