Another wonderful initiative to get Queenslanders active and healthy is twirling its way across virtual dance floors.
Arthritis Queensland received $100,000 under ActiveKIT Round 2 to deliver the “Dance Moves” program for people living with arthritis. The Dance Moves program, delivered in collaboration with Queensland Ballet is a free, online program available for anyone living with arthritis to help them exercise, build confidence and connect with each other in a fun and supportive environment.
The program officially launched last week, offering participants in-person ballet classes at Queensland Ballet. You can find a class and register online.
ActiveKIT is delivered by the Queensland Government in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland to help Queenslanders of all ages to reach their fitness goals and connect with community.
